Amy BeetonMount Everest: the ultimate challenge in personal development |
“The CEO of a company, usually defined by his car, title and salary, is stripped of every social façade to his bare self on Everest.”
To fulfil her greatest mountaineering ambition, Amy Beeton juggled a demanding City job with a gruelling training regime. Her reward involved climbing through the dark at −45˚C and battling 150mph winds in the “Death Zone” – all while recovering from recent surgery. Nevertheless, she became one of the few British women to have reached the summit of Mount Everest. Today, she trains individuals and teams from all types of organisation to overcome the seemingly insurmountable. Their goals may be less dramatic, but they still benefit hugely from the motivational techniques that brought Amy to peak mental and physical condition.
